Have you seen this? It's a little experiment done by the Washington Post and Joshua Bell, one of the most acclaimed and talented musicians today. He agreed to 'busk' for 45 minutes in a Washington DC metro station. Normally tickets to see him cost upwards of $100US, and he plays some of the most technically difficult and beautiful music composed on one of the most valuable violins in the world (in the area of $3.5 million.) He made $32.17 that day, and almost everyone passed him by without a second glance. But it's not really about the money, the music is movingly beautiful, here is the full 45 minute audio link
